Paranoid CE Approved Fully Lined Jean
WE ONLY MAKE FULLY LINED JEANS OR FULLY REINFORCED JEANS. FOR THE SAME REASON YOU WOULD NOT BUY A PART REINFORCED FRONT TYRE OR HELMET.
We can sell them at lower, part lined jean prices because you are not paying for a retailer or a distributor, hence the wholesale-like prices.
Q: What is the simple difference between the Paranoid and the Easyrider Jeans?
A: The Paranoid Jean has a Fully lined protective layer of Aramid and has, a waterproof membrane so is intended for all year round use especially in cooler countries like the UK, whereas the Easyriders protective layer is the outer single skin layer which contains Aramid so is intended for warmer days or when a normal fashion jean weight is preferred.
Both have fully passed the new CE and are fully certified.
FULLY CE APPROVED AT AAA
So it’s not just a material pass, it had its seams and stitching tested, its inside material, its the design, even the armour pockets are tested, not just for abrasion but for tensile strength, rip and tear as well, everything to get this CE Certificate. Plus it has level 2 CE memory foam armour included and a waterproof membrane, it is FULLY lined not part lined, so has no weak areas, the new improved 2019 Paranoid really is value for money.
Everything before the CE is BULL.
One of the biggest reasons the Paras sell so well is down to their comfortable fit, and the fact that they look like normal jeans although being serious fully lined jeans.
The Paranoid jean is our biggest seller, and, pound for pound our best value product. It has been used by several thousand bikers over the years now and has proven itself worthy in many real life spills.
Most of our sales of this product are now recommendations. This new version has an extra 30 grams per metre of aramid in a special terry loop structure giving an even higher strength whilst still maintaining the super comfortable, all year round feel its so famous for and it has also been slightly narrowed in the legs and hips to reduce movement of the fabric and armour on impact with the road, which is crucial and often not taken into consideration with Bike jeans.
The full inner lining is made from knitted aramid so this then allows for give in the jean for people with wider legs to be able to break them in around their own shape over a few days.
Paranoid Jeans High-speed Crash Review from Customer
November 2018 Motorcycle Live show NEC.
I can highly recommend Roadskin Paranoid Jeans as I was wearing them when traveling on the motorway when I was involved in an accident at high speed and was barrelled down the motorway ” Where they saved my Life”and came away with far less injuries than if I had not had them.
Richard H (Lanchashire).
Richard was told by medical staff that our fully lined Jeans probably saved his life.
13 to 14 oz , good strong cotton denim
This product is 100% fully lined with military grade 340-350 gsm para-aramid.
Brand of para- aramid : DuPont™ KEVLAR®
“DuPont™ and Kevlar® are trademarks or registered Trade Marks of E.I.du Pont de Nemours and Company”.
Important information regarding sizing.
To ensure you get the correct size, first time, we ask that you take a moment to measure your best fitting non-stretch jeans or trousers before ordering. Lay the jeans/trousers down, do up the button and measure from side to side, to the qtr inch. Double this number and that is your ‘true size’.
When ordering our Paranoid jean we recommend ordering the next size up from your ‘true size’ to allow for the lining and armour.
Caring for your Roadskin product.
We recommend washing on a cold or cool wash (20° or below), preferably by hand, using a non-biological detergent and then drip drying. DO NOT tumble dry. This helps to maintain the integrity of the cotton or denim ensuring your product lasts longer. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a weakening of the product.
Water Resistance and treatment.
This product has now moved on from when this info video was made and now has a waterproof membrane attached to the inside of the outer material. This is to back up the recommended spraying of Fabsil on the outside of the garment and seams. The waterproof membrane is of course sewn through when producing the garment so the seams need to be treated after a wash or heavy rain with Fabsil spray or equivalent. We recommend Fabsil, as in our own tests it works FAR better than any other product. As the water resistance of the product is subject to maintenance by the user these garments are sold as water resistant and not water proof. Saying that, these products are sold virtually everyday from recommendations of people happy with their ability in the rain, when maintained properly.
Important Information Regarding Armour.
It is very important to wear armour with these products, not just to help protect your bones but also to reduce the impact of the bone against the fabric in the key areas. The fabric is not designed to withstand impact, in the key areas, without armour.
Important Information Regarding CE Testing.
If a product is stated clearly to have a FULL CE approval it is sold as Motorcycle Protective wear. If a product does NOT state a FULL CE approval and only material test passes then it is sold as Durable Leisurewear, NOT as Motorcycle protection wear.
Although Roadskin always self regulated, most companies making bike jeans did not ie selling part lined jeans to fast bike owners etc, so due to this, European legislation has been enforced ie: all motorcycle clothing is being changed from leisurewear to protective wear by way of a new CE test pren17092. We are busy putting our products through this CE process, but until each product is proclaimed by us as fully CE approved it will continue to be be sold as leisurewear with no protection claims. When each one passes they will then be sold as protection wear, albeit at a higher price to pay for the CE.
No product can honestly guarantee against injury, we should and would never guarantee against injury even with these great products that we believe wholeheartedly in, as it could give a false sense of security to the rider.
All we can do is make the best products we can.
If a customer is expecting a guarantee or assurance of no harm or injury to themselves or anyone they must simply not purchase our goods.
Saying that we are the only company we know of, that makes clear what each product is exactly designed for and the only company that has made the stance against financial gain to NOT sell PART LINED non fully reinforced products.
Which must show people that we are not a typical company that looks to profit first, we are a company that is genuine and cares about our fellow bikers.
Alan Paterson – Best biker products in the UK. I had an accident in May and if I wasn’t wearing the Road Skin Cargo trousers I would’ve lost my left knee. Can’t thank these guys enough and I’ve just been given a pair of Easy riders and they are absolutely amazing.
Matt Stringer – Bought a pair of these jeans 4 years ago and still brilliant
